Delivery
Delivery will be carried out by outsourced companies. Allow up to 5 business days for delivery from the date of confirmation of your order and receipt of payment.
Delivery to Mauritius is free from the purchase value of MUR 5000. For any amount below 5000Rs MUR, a delivery fee will be calculated according to your location
If there is a problem with stock availability, we will contact you to inform you of any delays. Delivery delays may occur around Christmas, Easter, and public holidays and/or if a weather alert is in effect.
If for any reason we cannot deliver the complete order at the same time, no fee will be charged for additional deliveries. In the event of a change in the delivery date, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to delivery. If you are not at home at the scheduled time for a requested delivery, we reserve the right to charge for the delivery of the order.
When delivery is added to the shopping cart, the customer agrees to meet certain delivery requirements specified below:
If the person named on the order confirmation is not at the delivery address to receive the order, we will endeavour to contact the named customer in order to obtain their consent and acknowledgement that any person at the delivery address receiving the products is authorised by the customer to receive the order. Otherwise, the customer may ask us to arrange a delivery at another time, and we may charge an additional delivery fee for that replacement delivery.
We require that the person accepting delivery of the customer's order print their name and sign the delivery manifest with the time and date of delivery. We may also ask the person receiving the delivery for photo identification to verify their identity.
For non-residents, delivery can be made at the hotel reception or at the concierge desk.
Delivery will be made to the address specified by the customer and the goods will not be delivered to a PO Box or to any other location than the address indicated on the order confirmation.
Deliveries will be made to the customer by one of our delivery people or contracted delivery companies.
Refund Policy
We will issue refunds in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Act 2007 (the "Act" http://www.ccm.mu/English/Documents/Legislations/Competition_Act.pdf), which means that the goods you have purchased:
- Are not of merchantability;
- You must return your goods within 5 working days, unless otherwise stated, if 1-3 points above occur, and provide us with:
- Proof of purchase by presenting the original VAT invoice and/or order number.
- The goods shown on the VAT invoice with all original packaging and manuals attached: proper identification to identify you as the original purchaser; and
- Warranty card (if provided)
All refunds for an online sale are made via the Coastal Waves Ltd Support Centre, once a payment request form has been submitted. Bank, credit card or PayPal funds will then be refunded to the customer's account by the Support Center. This process can take up to seven business days.
Subject to the law, non-refundable items include, but are not limited to:
- Gift Cards
- Consumable items (such as batteries, spare parts...)
- Severely damaged or abused objects
- When the unique serial number of the product has been hidden, defaced, removed, or does not match
- Items that are missing included accessories
- Engraved or otherwise personalized items
Returns may be considered by Coastal Waves Ltd under the following conditions:
- If the customer notices that the delivery box is not sealed or is damaged at the time of delivery.
- If an out-of-box failure is reported for the particular product during testing at the time of delivery.
- If there is a discrepancy between the product ordered and the one delivered.
- For the conditions mentioned above:
- The customer must not accept the delivery and it must be returned by the delivery staff.
- The customer understands that the second delivery is subject to stock availability, and when stock is available, the product will be delivered to the customer within 2 working days.
After delivery, the customer must inform Coastal Waves Ltd, within 48 hours, of a defect in the product by calling +230 59306819. Any return request will be reviewed solely against the warranty conditions attached to the product, including the following:
- The customer must bring the defective product to Coastal Waves Ltd located in Calodyne, together with the invoice.
- Customer does not accept or permit any other party to modify or manipulate the Product. Any evidence of tampering will constitute a material breach by the customer and Coastal Waves Ltd has no obligation to take back the product.
- The customer must present the sales invoice, and/or transaction receipt and identification information (national ID card or passport).
Coastal Waves Ltd reserves the right to refund the customer or exchange the product for a return
If a product is damaged during delivery, you must refuse to receive that product and notify us immediately.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your order before shipping. In case of cancellation of the order, we will refund your payment in accordance with our refund policy.
If we are unable to stop the shipment of the order at the time of cancellation, then you will need to refuse delivery or return the products in order to receive a refund in accordance with our refund policy and; We reserve the right to charge administration and delivery fees to cover our reasonable costs in relation to your cancelled order.
