SLINGSHOT through COASTAL WAVES LTD warrants to the original purchaser that SLINGSHOT products are free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If Coastal Waves Ltd finds a product to be defective, Slingshot may, in its sole discretion, limit its liability to credit, repair, or replacement of the defective product.

IN NO EVENT SHALL COASTAL WAVES LTD BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY. Such damages include, but are not limited to, loss of profits, loss of use of property, property damage, and claims of third parties.

This Warranty is subject to the following restrictions.

• Slingshot warrants all products, with limited exceptions, sold by COASTAL WAVES LTD that are found to be defective in materials or workmanship, for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
• Warranty only to Slingshot products purchased from COASTAL WAVES LTD and is valid only for the original purchaser.
• Pre-owned and demo products are sold "as is" and are not covered by a Warranty.
• Warranted against normal wear and tear and damage caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship. Damage caused by use of the product not in accordance with its intended purpose is not covered by the Warranty.
• Any Warranty is void if the product has undergone any modification, change, or alteration, unless authorized in writing by Slingshot.
• Damage caused by natural causes, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and storms ("natural disasters") is not covered by Warranty.
• All Warranties must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt and must clearly identify the dealer, the date of purchase, and the item.
• Repaired or replaced products are covered only for the remaining duration of the original Warranty.
• All products replaced under Warranty must be returned to COASTAL WAVES LTD
• If the product is to be returned to Slingshot, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the products, freight prepaid, and insurance. Slingshot and COASTAL WAVES LTD do not incur any responsibility for the products while they are being shipped from the customer to our warranty. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Warranty GUIDELINES Warranty

KITES - Here are some examples of what is NOT covered:

• Any problems resulting from misuse, abuse, impact (on any surface, including water), or neglect.
• Tears in the canopy.
• Damage due to improper storage and handling of the kite.
• Damage due to overinflation.
• Cosmetic issues, including discolored graphics and excessive sun exposure.
• Damage caused by any modification of the kite, including alteration or degradation of the serial number.
• Damage caused by the use of ropes or Slingshot Bars.
• Damage caused by pilot error.

Twintips – Here are some examples of what  is NOT covered:

• Any issues resulting from misuse, abuse, impact (including sliders), or neglect.
• Cosmetic issues, including faded graphics, dents on the top sheet, or discoloration from sun exposure.
• Damage to the board resulting from improper mounting of boots, use of incorrect mounting hardware, or mounting non-Slingshot boots.
• Damage due to improper storage and handling of the board.
• Damage caused by any modification of the board, including alteration or deterioration of the serial number.

SURFBOARDS, FOIL, - Here are some examples of what  is NOT covered:

• Any issues resulting from misuse, abuse, impact, or neglect, including storage and handling of the board.
• Cosmetic issues, including faded graphics, dents on the top sheet, chips, or discoloration from sun exposure.
• Heel marks or buckling caused by jumps or falls on the board.
• Damage to the board resulting from the use of incorrect mounting hardware.
• Damage to the board due to excessive exposure to the sun for an extended period of time.
• Damage to the board due to poor ventilation of the board.
• Store your board in a cover for long periods of time, or store it when wet.
• Damage caused by any modification of the board.
• Loss of ailerons due to improper installation.
• Damage to the board resulting from improper use of the board support.

FOILS - Here are some items that  are NOT covered:

• Any issues resulting from misuse, abuse, impact, or neglect, including storage and handling of the board.
• Seizure, rust and corrosion of the foil and hardware due to improper care and maintenance.
• Chips, bumps, and cosmetic blemishes caused by use.
• Damage caused by modification or use of improper equipment.
• Damage or loss of the foil following the use of a Slingshot foil board.
• Damage to the foil, plate and/or loss of foil caused by improper installation, improper tightening of the material or impact with any object.

Ride Engine warrants that its non-electronic products will be free from defects in material or workmanship to the original purchaser for a period of one year from the date of purchase, and that its electronic products (e.g., Air Box electric pump) will be free from defects in materials or workmanship to the original purchaser for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. If a product is found to be defective by Ride Engine, in its sole discretion, Ride Engine's liability is limited to crediting, repairing, or replacing the defective product.

IN NO EVENT SHALL COASTAL WAVES LTD BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY. Such damages include, but are not limited to, loss of profits, loss of use of property, property damage, and claims of third parties.

This warranty is subject to the following limitations.

• The warranty applies only to Ride Engine products purchased from Ride Engines Authorized COASTAL WAVES LTD, and is valid only for the original purchaser.
• Pre-owned and demo products are sold "as is" and do not have a warranty.
• The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear and damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship. Damage caused by the use of the product outside of its intended use is not covered by the warranty.
• Any warranty coverage is void if any modification, change, or modification has been made to the product, unless authorized in writing by Ride Engine.
• Any modification, association with non-Ride Engine components or spreader bars, or use outside of the intended function of the product is not recommended, may not be safe, and may void the product warranty.
• Damage caused by natural causes, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and storms ("Acts of God") is not covered by the warranty.
• All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt and must clearly identify the dealer, date of purchase, and item.
• Repaired or replaced products are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
• All products submitted to Ride Engine for warranty inspection must have an engine housing number (Return Authorization Record Number), provided by the warranty department.
• All products replaced under warranty must either be returned to Ride Engine or destroyed. If the product is to be destroyed, Ride Engine's warranty department will ask the customer to destroy the product and send photographic documentation prior to replacement shipping.
• If the product is to be returned to Ride Engine, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the products, freight prepaid, and insurance. Ride Engine assumes no responsibility for the products when shipping from the customer to our warranty service. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• Ride Engine will cover the cost of returning items repaired or replaced via ground service in the United States and Canada. If you were purchased outside of the United States or Canada, please contact your distributor regarding your warranty claim.
• Ride Engine may require you to destroy the product under warranty and provide photo documentation before providing a replacement.
